Griffith Mortuary Kearny, Az. 22 March 2012 Frank (Pancho) Martinez Ruiz, 84, of Winkelman passed away at 2:45 a.m. at Plaza HealthCare in Scottsdale, AZ on March 20, 2012. Mr. Ruiz is survived by his sisters Margaret M. Ruiz, Anita Martinez, Ramona Villegas, Lydia Gutierrez, and Mary Helen Lopez and brother Alfred M. Ruiz and daughters Rosita Ruiz and Edelia Christine Felix, sons Frank Javier Ruiz and George Gabriel Ruiz. Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by brothers, Johnny M. Ruiz and Cornelio Felizardo Ruiz and parents Francisco T. Ruiz and Rita M. Ruiz. Pancho was born on December 8, 1927, son of Francisco T. Ruiz (Barkerville, AZ) and Rita Martinez Ruiz (Klondyke, AZ). He was born in Winkelman Arizona and was a lifetime resident of the copper basin area. Pancho started working at the age of 17 until he retired. He worked for Asarco as a crane operator and held various jobs for Asarco till he retired early due to heart attack in 1989 at the age of 62. He will forever be remembered as a loving and generous peaceful person who always shared. He loved his family and Winkelman. Pancho leaves behind 6 grandchildren Francisco Noel Felix, Alexis Marie Felix, Michael Anthony Felix, Natalie Grace Ruiz, Jasmine Marie Ruiz, and Isaiah Elijah Ruiz. Frank M. Ruiz loving son, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle will be sorely missed. Interment: Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery; Hayden, Az.
