Wanda Faye Todd, 76, of Concho died March 18, 2012, at Bannon Springs Ranch in Vernon. Mrs. Todd, a retired cashier, was born Jan. 10, 1936 in Sinton, Texas. She loved dogs, traveling, lighthouses on the Oregon coast and collected angels and fairies. She was as sweet as a puppy and as feisty as an Arizona rattlesnake. Wanda was the only woman that could slap you upside the head as she tells you she loves you.
She is survived by her husband, Roy of Concho; daughters: Penny Smith of Roseburg, Ore., Paula Sherman of Shady Grove, Ore., Stacie Wendover of Roseburg, Ore., Patsy Shan of Moningham, Texas; sons: Kenny Sherman of Roseburg, Ore., Phil Sherman also of Roseburg, Paul Sherman of Salem, Ore., Carl Massey of Coos Bay, Ore., Marcus Roy Todd of Moningham, Texas; brothers: Dayton Kolb of Roseburg, Ore., Jim Kolb, also of Roseburg, 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Black’s Show Low Mortuary, 401 N. 4th Ave. in Show Low with Pastor Kevin Weaver officiating.
