The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/23/2012 Fletcher A. Showalter, 91, died March 17, 2012 in St. Johns. He was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Princeton, W. Va., the son of Fletcher A. Showalter Sr. and Laura Crawford Showalter. Mr. Showalter served his country in the U.S. Army from Nov. 1940 to Aug. 1945; World War II, in the South Pacific. He was a plumber/pipe fitter for 60 years and belonged to the Pipefitter Union. Fletcher is survived by his daughters, Sandy and Melody. No services are planned at this time.
