"Joe" Reynolds, age 77, a 29-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away at home on Friday, March 2, 2012. Joe was a devout born again Christian, and is now with his Lord. He was born in Schenectady, N.Y., on August 30, 1934. As a teenager, he moved with his family to Oceanside, Calif., where he graduated from high school and junior college. Joe commenced his police career as an officer with the Oceanside Police Department. After two years with the police department, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served two years as a CID investigator. Upon discharge, Joe accepted an appointment to the California Highway Patrol. He retired with a medical disability as the result of an on-duty motorcycle accident, and spent the next 18 years working as a private investigator. Joe moved to Bullhead City in 1983, and became a real estate broker, partnering with his good friend, Steve Buck, in Property Management Services. He retired in 1996, and spent his remaining years designing septic systems for local contractors. Joe believed in giving back to the community that made his business a success. He served as Chairman of the Bullhead City Traffic Commission for four years, and served as President of the Chamber of Commerce for five years. In addition, as a Rotarian, he chaired and co-chaired the Burro BBQ and the rodeo. Joe is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne; son, Jeff; stepdaughter, Kim Carroll; stepson, Brandon Bock; and seven grandchildren. A celebration of Joe's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the "Come As You Are" church, 5902 Hwy 95, Suite 102, Fort Mohave, Ariz.
