FROST, William (Bill) Hugh


West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Thursday, March 23, 2012 William "Bill" Hugh Frost, 80, of the West Valley died from a stroke March 14, 2012. Dr. Frost was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Shawnee, Okla., to John and Lillis. He graduated from Fox High School in 1949 and went on to the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1954. He then attended Kansas City Dental College, graduating in 1958, and joined the Air Force at Luke Air Force Base, where he practiced dentistry until 1960. He opened his first dental practice at Thunderbird Plaza in Glendale in 1961, and added a second Avondale storefront in 1978. He practiced at both locations up until his death. He was a member of the Glendale Optimist Club, a Shriner and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, Mid-American Orthopedics Society and World Congress of Micro Dentistry. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; eight children, Jack, Vicki, Jay, Jeff, Eric, Kendra, Cricket and Rebecca; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
