Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from March 25 to April 1, 2012 - Richard Andrew Cameron, age 72, a 12-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born January 2, 1940, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to Robert and Dorothy Rose Cameron. Richard served in the U.S. Navy. He then became a heavy-duty mechanic, and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 428 for 35 years. He was also a member of the American Legion. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cameron. Richard is survived by his four daughters, Diane, Bonnie, Sybil, and Roseanna; three sons, Tom, Edward, and Robert; mother, Dorothy Rose Cameron Meek; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and friend, and prior wife of 37 years, L.V. Cameron. Richard donated his body to science. A celebration of Richard's life was previously held.
