NICOLL, Alice Bernetta

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/27/2012 Alice Bernetta Bond Nicoll, 82, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at her home in Eagar. She was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Ramah, N.M. to Joseph William and Sylvia Bernetta Bloomfield Bond. Alice was a homemaker. She loved quilting, gardening, canning and doing family history work and especially loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons: C. Keith (Barbara) Nicoll; Larry (Darlene) Nicoll; Stephen (Colleen) Nicoll all from Eagar; Robert (Lynette) Nicoll of Taylor; Randy (Sandra) Nicoll of Eagar; daughters: Kathryn (Conrad) Needham of St. George, Utah; Sylvia (Forrest) Dean of Round Mountain, Nev.; Peggy (Tom) Wright of Surprise; brother Dean Bond of Ramah, N.M.; sisters: Glenna Crosby of Mesa; Marge Roberts of Texas; Ann Nelson of Dallas, Texas; Barbara Grenko of Perry, Utah; Carolyn Wolfe of Farmington, N.M.; 41 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Nicoll and sister Geraldine Tietjen. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, at the Amity Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment followed at the Eagar Cemetery.
