The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/27/2012 John T. “Jack” Dickenson Jr. died March 21, 2012 in Gilbert. He was born Dec. 17, 1952, in Detroit, Mich. Jack was raised in Mesa and graduated from Mesa High School in 1972. He was well known within the Phoenix area home construction industry and was proud to have worked alongside his father for many years. Jack was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who always provided for his family. He loved his classic cars, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Detroit Red Wings hockey, spirited conversation with friends and everything outdoors. Jack is survived by his parents, Delores D. and John T. Dickenson, Sr.; wife Darlene (McCleve) Dickenson; children: Tawnya L. (Adam) Dowdy, John T., III (Kristen), Jarred D. (Janelle), and Ashley M. (Jeremy) Jacobus; grandchildren: Ara, Brant, and McKayla Seamons, John, IV and Cassidy Dickenson, Tate and Kendric Dickenson, Boden Dowdy, Chris Fernandez, and Kyleigh Jacobus; siblings: Dennis, Lynn, and Tracy Dickenson, Kelly Kaspryzk, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jack’s life was held Sunday, March 25, at Allen Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne, Mesa, AZ 85204.
