Ralph graduated from Western Reserve University with a BBA. He was a past president of the Wickenburg Rotary, and past master of the Wickenburg Mason Lodge. Ralph served in the Navy from May 1945 to August 1946. Ralph moved to Wickenburg from Westlake, Ohio, in 1972. He worked as a mobile home dealer, contractor, developer, and in real estate sales. Sam left behind his wife Phyllis Sams of Wickenburg; daughters Cheryl Damberger of California and Lynne Sams of Prescott, Ariz.; a son Dale Sams of Prescott, Ariz.; grandchildren Deserey, Jennie, Lisa, Beth, Nathan, Austin, and Bethany along with five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Gearold and Ethel Sams, son Raymond Sams;, and two brothers David Sams and Paul Sams. Services will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg, Ariz. Arrangements are by David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home.
