McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel Safford, Arizona Bobby Chavez, Jr. March 21, 1956 ~ March 21, 2012 Bobby Chavez, Jr., 56, passed away on March 21, 2012 at his home in Safford with his loving family by his side. He was born 56 years ago today on March 21, 1956 in Safford to Bobby Sr. and Rose Chavez. Bobby grew up in Safford and attended Safford High School. He worked in the construction industry for many years. He also worked for the city of Safford. He is preceded in death by his father and his sister Carol Chavez. He is survived by his mother; his sisters Camilla Gomez and Cherry Arrellin; his brother Rudy Ybarra; his daughter Leah Chavez and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Father Edward Lucero officiating. There will be a viewing and Rosary on Sunday, March 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
