Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Robert Morris Canfield (February 27, 1929 - March 27, 2012) Robert Morris Canfield passed away at his home in Snowflake Arizona, March 27, 2012. Throughout his life he has lived many places including Casa Grande, Wyoming , South Dakota, and the past five years in Snowflake, Arizona. Robert served as Corporal in the Army and fought in the Korean War, He separated from the service on June 7, 1952. He later retired and loved to stay busy. Robert was survived by his wife of 58 years Gwen L. Canfield, Sons: James Auther Canfield (Pam) of Columbia NC., Richard Thomas Canfield of Dewey Az., and Charles Williams Canfield (Virginia) of Chandler Az., Daughters: Leona Robbin Savage (Danny J.) of Taylor Az., Kathy Lynn Ellison (Carl) of Fayettville Ark., Linda Faye Oliver (Ernie) of Coolidge, Az., and Carol Louise Crider (Jack) of Casa Grande, Az. 21 Grandchildren and 37 1/2 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great -Great Grandchild; Brothers Bill, Art, and Ben, Sisters Milly, Bess and Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Morris Canfield and Herminia. Service will take place Sunday April 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM. At Silver Creek Mortuary 745 Paper Mill Rd. Taylor Arizona. Interment will take place on Monday April 2, 2012 at the Reed Hatch Memorial cemetery Taylor, Arizona. Arrangements have been handled by Silver Creek Mortuary.
