Jim McDowell reports the death of Murray Harris of Los Angeles, partner in the Rincone Copper Company mines located on the California side of the Colorado some thirty miles above Parker. Mr Harris' death was very sudden. A party had visited the mine on an inspection trip and while returning to camp, Mr Harris seemed overcome with the heat and died before they could reach camp with him.
