Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from March 30 to April 1, 2012 - Joanne Klingenmaier, age 78, a 16-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012, in Bullhead City, Ariz. An unexpected loss of an amazing lady, who loved nothing more than being with her family. Joanne was the only child of Bernice and Stanley Kapustka, and grew up in Chicago, Ill. She later moved to start and raise a family in California, including living in Fullerton for 37 years. Joanne then retired to Fort Mohave, and was known by many in the area for her beautiful hand-crocheted slippers. She enjoyed many crafts, keno, a good card game with family, cooking, and the many wonderful people who passed through her life. We will miss you dearly, Mom, and love you very much!! She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Alvin; son, Randy (Brenda) and granddaughter, Evie; and daughter, Tammy (Phil). Joanne was cremated, and a private service in celebration of her life will be held with her family.
