Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Saturday, March 31, 2012 Jean Evelyn Anderson Traylor went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the age of 75. Jean is survived by her sister Gail James (Roger), her two daughters Catherine Von Fricken (Thomas) and Mary-Lou Donaldson, 4 grandchildren Lauren Cohn, Andrew Cohn, Lee-Anne Donaldson and Scott Donaldson and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Lucile Anderson and her husband of 53 years Harold Traylor. Jean was a most beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. All who knew her will miss her intensely. God has certainly called one of his special Angels home. Jean was born in 1937 in Chicago, IL and raised in Shorewood, WI. Her family moved to San Diego, CA in 1954 where she graduated high school and attended San Diego State Community College. There, she met the love of her life, Naval Pilot, Harold Traylor. They married in 1958. When her children were young, Jean was a stay at home Mom. Hal retired from the military in 1978 and, the family moved to Woodland Hills, CA where Jean worked as a financial analyst for Sterling Software. The family remained in California for over 20 years. In 1992, Jean & Hal retired and moved to Flagstaff. Jean was an active member of Trinity Heights United Methodist Church and was also a member of Aspen Valley Golf Club. Services will be held at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church on Monday, April 2nd, 2012 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Trinity Heights United Methodist Church.
