Patricia Marie Stroud (Pat), 58, of Lake Havasu City, passed away March 26, with her family by her side.
Born Sept. 24, 1953, in Newfoundland, Canada, to Grace and Clarence Ray McCarty. After her father’s passing, her mother remarried Richard Tatham, who adopted Pat. Pat was the eldest of six daughters, Pamela Gibbs, Donna Carlton, Deborah Eckelbarger, Diane Harcrow and Brenee Pattinson.
Pat graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 1972. In 1979 she married Bob Stroud in Idaho. Pat enjoyed summer camping trips to Williams, playing pool and spending time with her many good friends and family members.
Pat is survived by her two children and their spouses, daughter, Meagan Vaca and son-in-law, Nathan Vaca, and son, Tucker Stroud and daughter-in-law, Chelsey Stroud; as well as her two grandchildren, Chloe and Aiden.
Pat’s life would seem too short for many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived. Her gentle smile, genuine acceptance of all people, her value of hard work, good judgment, courage and integrity, brought so much joy to her family and friends.
Memorial Services will at Stonebridge Christian Fellowship, Assembly of God Church located at 2700 S. Jamaica Blvd., April 7 at 11 a.m. Services will be followed by a Celebration of Life at Mckee’s Pub and Grill at 2 p.m.
