Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, March 31, 2012 - Clarence S. ("Bud") Nelson, age 80, of Lake Havasu City, formerly of Northridge, Calif., passed from this life on March 28, 2012. He was born Jan. 22, 1932, in Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean; his mother, Alice Huber; and his father, Clarence L. Nelson. He is survived by his sister, Judy Hardie; and brother-in-law, Vonnie Johnson, of Lake Havasu City. Bud is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Bud and his wife, Jean, retired from Lockheed and moved to Lake Havasu to be closer to family in 1984. Bud was a proud member of the Elks Club No. 2399 and was a past Exalted Ruler. Services are private. Donations may be made in Bud's name to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Drive, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.
