Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from April 1 to April 8, 2012 - Barbara A. Haptonstall, age 67, a 2-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., died after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave. She was born on February 26, 1945. Barbara and her husband Emmett moved from Cedaredge, Colo. in July of 2010. Barbara was and avid quilter and joined the Colorado River Quilters Guild in 2011. She enjoyed life to the fullest! She will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Willis Boyd; mother, Eva Boyd; and brother, Robert Boyd. Barbara is survived by her husband of 48 years, Emmett L. Haptonstall; three children, Mark R. Miller of Salisbury, N.C., Mike E. Miller of Clifton, Colo., and Chester L. Haptonstall of Divide, Colo.; two brothers, Gilbert Boyd of Mesa, Ariz. and Willis Boyd of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; two sisters, Joyce Hogue of Marion, Iowa and Gladys Barns of Ignacio, Colo.; and nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be held later this spring in Cedaredge, Colorado.
