CHAVEZ, Edward (Eddie) Ballejos

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/30/2012 Edward “Eddie” Ballejos Chavez went with the angels Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was born Sept. 7, 1949 in St. Johns to the late Eddie and Mary Chavez. Eddie retired as custodian from Flagstaff School District after many years of service. He also served in the Army. Eddie’s life centered on his family and friends. He was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by all. Eddie is survived by two sons: Eddie Robert and Vicente; sisters: Ellen Williams, Frances (Frank) Duerst, Lillian (Greg Chavez) and Irene Bennett; eight nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, April 2, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3 also at the church.
