HENDERSHOTT, George Richard

George Richard Hendershott, 78, of Parks, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in Jonesboro, Ark. Mr. Hendershott was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a retired iron worker of Local Union No. 75. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son Ward Hendershott; daughter Colleen McKnight; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three stepchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Ward and Ida Hendershott; son Wayde R. Hendershott; and sister Nina Stovall. A celebration of Mr. Hendershott's life was held at the main gym in the Maine Consolidated School in Parks. Arrangements were by Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. AZ Daily Sun June 7, 2007
