Joe W. Smith, 56 passed away Jan. 15, 2012 in Grand Island, Neb., after a courageous battle with cancer. Joe is survived by the love of his life, Jeannie Kinney; his children, Michelle Culling and son-in-law Loren; Corinna Kinney, Ben Smith and daughter-in-law Shawna; Tim Smith and 10 grandchildren.
 
Joe owned his own construction company, “Abide Construction.” He loved hanging out at the beach where he was known as “Big Joe Smith.” He will truly be missed.

Services will be April 7 at 4 p.m. at the Havasu Realtors building, 2293 Swanson.
