Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, April 3, 2012 10:06 PM MST Mary B. Horn, 84 passed away at her home in Lake Havasu City, March 30, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 20, 1928, to Melvin and Emma Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. Mary and her husband, William R. Horn, were married 67 years. Mary retired from Albertson’s Grocery Warehouse in Covina, Calif. Mary is survived by her husband, William R. Horn, of Lake Havasu City; son, William A. Horn, of Lake Havasu City; son and daughter-in-law, David L. and Barbara Horn, of Prescott, Ariz.; and daughter, Nancy L. McCurdy, of Marquette, Neb.; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Miller and Della Smith, of Burlington, Ind. Mary and her husband retired to Willow Valley, Ariz., in 1990, then to Lake Havasu City where they have resided for the last 20 years. Her gentle smile, acceptance of all people, her value of hard work, good judgment, courage and integrity brought so much to her family and friends. May you rest in peace, Mary.
