He was born April 27, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY. John attended Holy Name of Jesus Elementary School in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Technical High School, Virginia Polytechnical Institute where he earned his B.S. at Thomas Jefferson Law School in San Diego, CA. He worked for the Law Offices of Parker-Stanbury in Los Angeles, CA. John was predeceased by his parents, Alessio Cariati and Libera Mazzella Cariati. He is survived by his brother, Vincent P. Cariati, MD; sister-in-law, Heidi Bouzari Cariati; nephew, Emilio A. Cariati; nieces, Alessia A. Cariati and Federika A. Cariati and friend, Peony Coyne. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM, Friday, April 6, 2012, Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
