Rosary for Diego A. Marquez, Sr., who died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1964, in his home at 4444 W. Mitchel, was recited in Maryvale Chapel, 6901 W. Indian School. Requiem Mass was said Dec. 4, 1964, in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 3140 N. 51st Ave. Mr. Marquez, born in Sabinoso, New Mexico, lived in Arizona many years and in Phoenix the past 11 years. He was a retired cement finisher. He is survived by his wife, Lupe; five sons, Felix, Arthur, and Diego, Jr., all of Phoenix, and John and Henry of Kingman; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Aguilar and Mrs. Susie Sena, both of Kingman, Mrs. Dora Targhetta of Phoenix, and Mrs. Beatrice Gamez of Westminister, California; four brothers, Frank of Albuquerque, N. M., Jesus Marquez of Sabinoso and Simon and Pete Baca, both in New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Doloritas Duran of Phoenix and Mrs. Josefa Arragon of Rocky Ford, Colorado; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
