GRANDY, Diane R.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 17, 2004 Diane R. Grandy, age 73, died early Saturday morning, March 13, 2004, at Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Feb. 7, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Felix and Lucille Pawlonitz. Diane met and later married the love of her life, William H. Grandy, on July 16,1949. She worked as a dental assistant for many years. Diane and Bill moved to California in 1951. where they raised their two sons. The couple moved to Prescott, from California, in 1991. Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Diane is survived by her loving and caring husband of 54 years, William of Preseott, and her sons, William and Dee Grandy of Prescott Valley, Ariz. and Richard and Audrey Grandy of Irvine, Calif. She is also survived by her brothers, Duke and Janine Pawlowicz of California and Walter Pawlowicz of Ohio; her grandchildren, William, Jeanette, Nicholas, Ricky and Kelly, and a great-grandson, Triston. A Celebration of Diane's life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, at the American Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, in Prescott, with Pastor Dan Storvick officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The committal will be held at 2 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery in Dewey.
