ALLEE, Daniel Blair


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/06/2012 Daniel Blair Allee, 47, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at his home in Lakeside. He was born Feb. 20, 1965, in Los Angeles, Calif. to Joseph Blair Allee, Jr. and Barbara Marie McMillan Allee. At the age of 8, Dan moved to Big Bear, Calif. where he grew to love the mountains and to enjoy the fullness of the great outdoors. He was well known for his incredible sense of humor and unusually strong caring attitude towards others. Dan was a loving brother to his sisters throughout his life and considered them some of his best friends. He was genuinely kind to others and always enjoyed helping them with various projects. He knew no stranger and was one of the finest examples of “how” to care and love his fellowman. Daniel is survived by his father and stepmother, Joe and Nori Allee, Jr. of Apple Valley, Calif.; mother Barbara Allee of Apple Valley, Calif.; three sisters: Jacqueline Allee, Dora Ratcliff both of Palos Verdes, Calif., Leslie Ratcliff-Pool of Orange County, Calif.; the “love of his life” for over 19 years, Mary Beglinger of Lakeside; and her children: Michelle Beglinger and Michael Beglinger, both of Lakeside. Daniel is also survived by numerous other family members and a host of great friends. A special service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Big Bear, Calif. Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel of Show Low handled arrangements.
