CHAVARRIA, Joseph Salvador (Turo)

Joseph Salvador Chavarria (Turo) was born Aug. 30, 1974, and passed away June 1, 2007, in Tucson. 

Joseph was a graduate of Clifton High School. He worked as a construction worker in the Phelps Dodge Mine for several companies. Joseph enjoyed music, fishing, hunting and his famous road trips. He loved to drink beer with his friends and barbeque. 

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Pena; his stepfather, Joe Pena; his sisters, JoAnn Glover, Ellena Diaz (Rick Rodriguez), Lyanna Pena (Ollie) and Dianna Pena; his brothers, Tony Pena (Sandra) and Rudy Chavarria; grandmothers, Honey (Ray) Roman and Chana Onate (Ben); five nieces, Erica, Chelsea, Jealousy, Gabby and Savannah; one nephew, Baby Ricky; and aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Rudy R. Chavarria; nephew, Jacob P. Diaz Jr.; and his grandfather, Salvador Onate.
