Owens Livingston Mortuary Show Low, Arizona Chaney Jay Gomez September 10, 1990 ~ April 7, 2012 Chaney Jay Gomez died just as a new day was beginning on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona from complications of a life-long illness. He was 21 years old. Chaney was born on September 10, 1990 in Show Low, Arizona to his parents, Christopher Allen and Cindy Lee (Gomez) Hunt. Throughout his life, Chaney was affectionately known as "Bubba" and was a member of Show Low High School's Graduating Class of 2009. Along with his parents, Bubba is survived by a sister, Chandra. A special memorial service will begin 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low. He was the boy and man who touched everybody's heart when he came across their path in life. He is survived by his mom, Cindy Hunt; his dad, Chris Hunt; his sister, Chandra Gomez; his brothers: Brandon Hunt and Jeremy Hunt; his sister, Megan Hunt and is also survived by his grandparents, Ruben and Sandy Gomez. Chaney's family was with him through life and he will be with us through death. His smile and laughter will be forever with us.
