Gerald Leland Pratt passed away unexpectedly March 29, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Jerry, as he was known to family and friends, was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Cass City, Mich., to Leland and Margaret (Hook) Pratt.
Jerry worked at Havasu Landing as a casino shift manager for 10 years. He worked for Ford Motors for 25 years and as a police officer in Novi, Mich., in the 1970s, for almost a decade, for which he was so proud.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Pratt; his mother, Margaret (Pratt) Demmers; sons Leland Edmund Pratt and Michael Joseph Pratt; daughter, Christine Marie Caiger; stepchildren, Cherri Young and Troy Dunkin; sisters, Janice Schulter, Diane Robinson and Linda Kowalski; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Jerry was so proud of his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Leland Pratt, a former Walled Lake Chief of Police.
A Celebration of Life will be at the Eagles April 29 at 2 p.m. All are welcome.
