Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from April 8 to April 15, 2012 - Jackie Hedgecock, age 77, an 11-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., died Thursday, April 5, 2012, after a long fight with breast cancer. She was born Nov. 29, 1933, in Los Angeles, Calif. Jackie was an inspiration to all that knew her. She had a loving, fun spirit and loved to laugh. She enjoyed time with friends, bowling, golfing, camping and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed doing activities with her husband and family. Jackie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl; son, Greg (Holly) Hedgecock; two daughters, Cindy Snelson and Laurie (Mark) Miller; sister, Jeri (Jack) Darby; and 18 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the Moose Lodge, 2620 Miracle Mile, Bullhead City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie's name to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure , ww5.komen.org.
