JAMES, JR., Robert Allen (Bandito)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/10/2012 Robert Allen James Sr. (Bandito) died peacefully at his home Sunday, April 1, 2012. He was born April 2, 1941, in Chicago, Ill. Bob was blessed with six children. He worked as a contractor for many years. Bob enjoyed motorcycles and going to the golf course. He also loved writing poetry. His book of poems is soon to be published. Bob was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1996. He won that battle, but still fought with issues from his cancer. He also suffered from Parkinson’s, among other ailments. Bob’s dearest friend helped to see him through all the good times and the bad. Bob had a strong spirit and a soft heart, always up for a good laugh. He was a good friend to everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed; especially by his beloved dog, Dingus. Bob is survived by his brother, Bernard James Jr. of Indiana; sons: Robert James Jr. of Mo., Ronald James of Illinois., Richard James of Illinois., and Randy James of California; daughters: Denise James and Deborah James both of Indiana; and a niece Vanessa Powell of Snowflake. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous friends. Services were held Saturday April 14, at Potbelly Ranch In honor of Bob’s wishes, donations are suggested at any Wells Fargo bank under Vanessa’s Cancer Fund.
