KING - DRAKE, Beverly Elaine

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, April 20, 2004 Beverly Elaine Drake, 57, passed away on April 19th, 2004, after a long and courageous fight against cancer. Beverly is survived by her husband, Bob, her mother, Connie and step-father, Marvin Robertson, of Oklahoma City; brother Dennis O'Connor, of Prescott; sons, John King and Frank King, both of Austin, Texas, grandson, Cole King and her step-children, Leslie and Todd Post, of Dallas, Texas, Leighton and Kim Drake of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Laurel and Rob Meeker of Surprise, Ariz. She had six step-grandchildren, Brandon, Blake, Chelsea, Sara, Dakota and Abby. Her father, Frank O'Connor, of Lawton, Ok. preceded her in death. Beverly was from Oklahoma City and moved to Sedona when she and Bob married in 1996. They had been friends for 35 years. In 1998 she moved to Prescott. Beverly was loved by all who knew her and everyone will remember her radiant smile and positive attitude even in her time of sickness. She will be dearly missed by everyone and continue to live in the hearts and minds of all whose lives she touched. Services will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be sent to YRMC Hospice, P.O. Box 26565, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86312-6565. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
