Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, April 10, 2012 - Thomas R. Lowry passed away March 24, 2012. He was born Jan. 17, 1939, to Claude Lurline Lowry, in Abilene Texas. Tom retired from Moog Aerospace in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loved camping and BBQing and caring for his landscaping. Tom leaves behind Lerna, his wife of 55 years; daughters, Julie, Karen and her husband Rick Martinelli; four grandchildren, Whitney, Michael, Brittney and Adam; and three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Bella and Zoey. He also leaves behind six brothers and sisters, Mickey, Maryann, Bob, Nancy, Dave and Lynn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his son, Mark T. Lowry, in 2005. He will be greatly missed by all. Memorial services will be at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to Tom’s family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
