West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, April 06, 2012 Christine Sessom, 84, of Buckeye died April 2, 2012, in Surprise. Mrs. Sessom was born Nov. 7, 1927, in Harper, Texas. She moved to Arizona in 2003, and was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Buckeye. She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Thompson of Kemp, Texas; one son, Walen of Buckeye; one sister, Jeanne McGlathery of Boulder, Colo.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church in Buckeye. The Rev. Artie Woodcox officiated. Memorials can be sent to the Youth Building Fund, First Southern Baptist Church, 405 N. Third St., Buckeye, AZ 85326. Funeral arrangements were made by Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home.
