LIPINSKI, Charles

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, April 11, 2012 Charles Lipinski was born Sept. 27, 1927 in Mt. Olive, Ill. He passed peacefully on Feb. 15. He moved to Odessa, Texas, at age 17 to work on an oilrig. He moved to Tucson after that and opened up a T.V. sales and repair shop. He retired at the age of 50 and moved to Wickenburg to build a home. Charles belonged to the Wickenburg Country Club where he enjoyed golfing and men’s night. When he couldn’t take care of his garden any longer he moved back to Tucson to be close to his family. He is survived by Phyllis Ford Lipinski, daughter Trish McFarland, son Chuck Jr., grandchildren Dawn and Lucas McFarland, and two great grandchildren. Services will be at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Saturday (April 14) at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony.
