Horace Whitney Kimball, Oct. 21, 1922 - June 6, 2007.
Services were at Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa on Saturday, June 16, 2007, for Horace W. Kimball, who died on June 6th in Hillsboro, Oregon.
He was 84.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lenore Gibbons Kimball, their 7 children, 29 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Born in Phoenix, AZ, Horace Whitney Kimball, a twin with his brother Howard Widtsoe Kimball, was a son of David Patten Kimball II and Nellie Maude Nash.
In October, 1945, he married Lenore Gibbons after serving 4 years flying blimps in the Navy.
Horace was described as a hard worker who played hard and loved life. He was an entrepreneur by nature and worked in a variety of different fields including real estate, sales, education, and building truck stops.
He was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
