Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from April 12 to April 19, 2012 - Michiel Brian Laskey, age 57, a 22-year resident of Bullhead City, was called to heaven on Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Fort Mohave, Ariz. Michiel was born in Trona, Calif., April 9, 1954, to Leon and Betty. He served his country as a Ranger in the U.S. Army, as a sergeant from 1974 to 1977. He moved to Bullhead City in 1990, met his wife Linda in 1995, and they were married in 1997. Michiel was loved by many and an inspiration to all. Sensational husband, wonderful father, and the best grandfather, and friend to ALL! When anyone needed help he was always there! He enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife and friends and loved his music. The louder the better! Michiel is survived by his wife of 15 years, Linda; three daughters, Sheri, Randi and Jacqueline; two sons, Adam and Scott; mothers, Betty and Virgina; four brothers, Danny, Scott, Doug and Don; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Kelly-Scott, Alex, Ryan and Rayleigh; two nieces, Danielle and Chastity; and many cousins. Services were held on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley, Ariz. .
