HALVORSEN, Larry L.

Larry L. Halvorsen, 61, loving husband of Carol Halvorsen, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, after being hospitalized with an illness. He was born June 21, 1947 and was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Halvorsen. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Stencel of Mauston, Wis.; brothers, Harvey Halverson and Rich Halverson; his sister, Patricia Czys; his children, Michael Halvorsen of Fountain Hills and Lori Pena of Round Rock, Texas; and four grandchildren. He moved to Fountain Hills in 1985 from Lake Zurich, Ill. and worked for MCO Properties and the Fountain Hills School District. He has resided at Shadow Mountain Healthcare the past three years. His hobbies include fishing on Saguaro Lake and Lake Pleasant. He will be missed by all his friends for his friendly nature and sweet personality to all. Fountain Hills Times August 6, 2008
