Mary Ann Scalise (Russo) of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on August 9, 2008 at 94 years of age.
Mary Ann was born in Oakland, CA, March 24, 1914 to Carl and Frances Russo.
A resident of Arizona since 1984, she previously resided in Warren, PA, Louisville, KY, Muskegon, MI, Marion, VA, Kalamazoo, MI, Northbrook, IL, and St. Louis, MO before moving to Phoenix, AZ.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Joseph William Scalise, sister Adeline Russo, brother Tony Russo, mother Frances Russo, and father Carl Russo, all of Warren, PA. Mary Ann is survived by son's David (Barbara), James (Diane), daughter Cindi Lofstedt (Dennis), 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a brother Carl Jr. (Bobbi) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in her childhood hometown of Warren, PA at a private family graveside prayer service where she will rest next to her husband Joseph.
Arrangements are being handled by the Don Lewis Funeral Home in Warren, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to The St. Thomas of the Apostle Church - Sodality, 2312 East Campbell Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85016 or to your favorite charity.
