MASTERMAN, Rodney


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, April 12, 2012 Rodney Masterman, 86, died at home on April 10, 2012. Rodney, who was born and raised in Colorado, enlisted in the Navy at age 17 and served during World War II. Upon his honorable discharge, he attended Arizona State University where he earned a master's degree in education. He went on to teach for many years, and eventually finished his career serving as a school administrator. Rodney was married to Suzanne Masterman for 55 years when she passed away in 2004. He was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and is survived by his sons Rick Masterman (Paula) and Gregory Masterman (Martha); his daughters Pamela James (Richard) and Karen Torkelson (Timothy); 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
