The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/13/2012 Arleen K. Rutherford, 67, of Lakeside died April 7, 2012, at home. Mrs. Rutherford was born Jan. 30, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She retired as business manager for a pacemaker production company. Arleen was raised in New York and spent most of her childhood on Long Island. Following high school, she received a teaching degree from SUNY-Stony Brook. She then worked for MedTronic in Tempe for 26 years, retiring in 2006 when she moved to Lakeside. She is survived by her daughters: Catherine Rutherford of Lakeside, and Kim A. Rutherford of Wilmington, Del.; and granddaughter Cassandra Occhipinti of Lakeside.
