Elizabeth “Beth” (Wilson) Beakley died April 7, 2012 in Springerville.
She was born Aug. 12, 1941, to Margaret and Bud Wilson in Portales, N.M. She married Ben Beakley Sept. 30, 1960, and lived in Portales, N.M. until moving to Springerville in 2007.
She loved reading books, collecting dolls and salt and pepper shakers, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving relatives are her three daughters: Gayla Kilpatrick of Springerville, Kayla Jo (Casey) Payne of Portales, N.M., and Tracy (Adam Jr.) Gutierrez of Portales, N.M.; three sisters: Annie (Leroy) Oldham of Pagosa Springs, Colo., Shirley Hill of Portales, Ruby (Charles Goates of Havre, Mont.; brother Donnie (Laverne) Wilson of Portales; three granddaughters: Tana (Jimmy) Delgado, Alyssa and Amber; six grandsons: Tyler, Steven, Jeremy, Brandon, Cory and Zachary; great-grandson Cyrus; one great-granddaughter Marley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents; step-father Jewel Robinson, husband Ben; three brothers: Tommy Dale Smith, Vessie Lee Wilson and Ricky Don Robinson; great-granddaughter Susannah Delgado; and niece Denise Joy Cooper.
As per her request, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
