The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, April 13, 2012 Arthur R. Dickens Sr., 75, died at his home on April 10, 2012. Arthur, the youngest of 10 children, was born in Russellville, Ark. He moved with his family as a young boy to northern California. He settled in the Marysville/Yuba City area, married and raised his family. Arthur was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Operating Engineers Local 3 most of his adult life. He had a passion for country and Western music and played with several bands for fraternal organizations, dinner houses and charities. He was preceded in death by his oldest son Arthur "Buddy" Dickens Jr. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Russell D. Dickens of Sutter, Calif., and Loren C. Dickens of Clarkdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arthur will be laid to rest with his family members in the Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, Calif.
