MARTINEZ, Joseph A.

Joseph A. Martinez, 53, a resident of Waddell, died June 9, 2007.  

Joe was employed through Operating Engineers 428.  

Survivors include: Wife Yolanda Castillo Martinez; Daughter: Sandy (David) Joya; Son: Joseph (Marcia) Martinez; His dearly loved grandchildren: Breanna and Alonzo; Sisters: Minie, Linda, Martha and Lisa.  

Joe was a graduate of Tolleson High School, 1972.  He was also a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.  Joe gave us laughter, happiness and guidance.  People were drawn to his comedic personality, warm smile and he always left a smile on our faces.  He had such strength which allowed him to fight a courageous battle with his head held high.  He will be truly missed.  

Funeral Mass was Friday June 15th at Blessed Sacrament Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave, Tolleson.  Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery 99th Ave and Thomas.
