Edward Rico Jr., 17, of Tolleson died March 29, 2012, in Phoenix from a gunshot wound.

Edward was born June 29, 1994, in Phoenix. He was a senior at Hope High School in Phoenix.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Lopez; four sisters, Angelina Jimenez, Amalia, Destiney and Celeste Rico; two brothers, Victor Lopez and Emilio; and two grandparents, Daniel and Ofelia Lopez.

Funeral services were at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Phoenix.
