Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from April 18 to April 25, 2012 - Walter "Todd" Fichter, age 57, a 21-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Saturday, March 31, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born November 22, 1954, in Allentown, Pa. Todd was enlisted in the Army from 1973-1975. After serving our country, he worked for the Pioneer Hotel for over 21 years as a maintenance engineer. He was active in the Bullhead City Little League throughout the years with his sons, and also belonged to the American Legion. Todd enjoyed going to Lazy Harry's, fishing, hunting, and riding his Sea Doo. Todd loved his family, and they will miss him and the fun they all had together. His smile, love for fun, and stories, will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Laura. Todd is survived by his two sons, Kelly Fichter of Goodyear, Ariz., and Kyle Fichter of Bullhead City; parents, Richard and Hermina Fichter of Allentown, Pa.; sister, Barbara Andreotti of Brattleboro, Vt.; two brothers, Mark Fichter of Greene, Maine, and Mike Fichter of Allentown, Pa.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Pioneer Hotel, Laughlin, Nev.
