Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from April 13 to April 24, 2012 - In Memory of RITA YVONNE LEWIS September 17, 1963 - April 23, 2011 A Celebration of Rita's Life will be held at her home in Bullhead City, Ariz. on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Rita Lewis passed away at her home after a long battle with breast cancer. She was native of California, and a long time resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. She worked as a cocktail waitress at the Colorado Bell for many years, and for the last nine years, at the Flamingo/Aquarius. She recently passed the Arizona State Realtor's Exam. Rita enjoyed her grandchildren, riding quads across the desert, making homemade wine and boating at Lake Mead and Lake Mohave or just floating down the Colorado River. She leaves her long time partner in Life, Mitchell Walker; her daughter, Julie Crawford; her son, Jeffery Lewis; two sisters, Valerie and Debbie; brother, Will Hopkins; and nine grandchildren, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
