Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, April 19, 2012 10:09 PM MST Lillian C. Arroyo passed away peacefully with family by her side April 16, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Jack and Virgie (Broomfield) Marshall Nov. 27, 1935, in Welch, W.Va. Lillian was involved in the Catholic Church, a founding member of Lucy Idol Center (for special needs) in Lorain, Ohio, sponsored dances for handicapped adults at New Horizons, cooked for Full Gospel Businessmen Local Chapter in Lorain, Ohio, and a volunteer at the Knights of Columbus kitchen in Lake Havasu City. Lillian is survived by her loving family, husband of 53 years, Edward Arroyo, of Lake Havasu City; son, Edmond Mark Arroyo, of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Lisa Carol Arroyo, of Lake Havasu City; sister, Willa Harrington, of Lorain, Ohio and grandson, Mark Jr. A Rosary will be said April 25, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass following at 11:30 a.m. with Father Chauncey Winkler officiating. Burial will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made in Lillian’s name to Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church soup kitchen.
