WARNKE, Marian O.

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Monday, April 23, 2012 - Marian O. Warnke, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Lake Havasu City. She was born in Wildrose, N.D. on September 30, 1925, to Oliver and Alpha Bekkedahl. Marian was married to Vernon D. Warnke in January 1949. They retired to Lake Havasu City where she lived for over 30 years. Marian was an avid bridge player and had many dear friends in her bridge groups. Family was at the center of Marian’s life. She was a devoted mother to her two children Greg and Kim, and her son-in-law Victor Trujillo. She touched many lives including those of her family members Lenard and Carol Bekkedahl, Oliver and Joan Bekkedahl, and many nieces and nephews including Jeff and Tonya Bekkedahl of Lake Havasu City. Her husband Vernon and her sister Mildred and brother Archie predeceased her. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, between 4 and 6 p.m. at Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory on Kiowa Boulevard. She will be buried next to her husband at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens in Lake Havasu City. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
