The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/24/2012 Daniel Quinn Sumrall Danny went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ April 16, 2012. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me” Psalm 23:4 He was born Dec. 9, 1945, in Orange, Texas. He was a loving, kind, generous man who gave of himself unselfishly; to everyone he met. Danny worked as a pipe fitter out of local 198, Baton Rouge, La. for the past 45 years. In Danny’s spare time he enjoyed working on his ’63 Fairlane and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren, Kylie and Ryder. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Carol; a wonderful father to Dana and Troy and a loving grandfather. Danny is survived by his wife, Carol Hines Sumrall; children: Dan Sumrall, Dana (Russell) Adams and Troy Sumrall; grandchildren: Kylie, Ryder, Meghan and Tyler; and sister, Sylvia (Bo) Moore. Funeral services were held Monday, April 23, at the First Baptist Church in Pinetop. Interment followed at the Show Low Cemetery. Black’s Show Low Mortuary handled arrangements.
