Heritage Funeral Chapel Peoria, Arizona Celina Leski October 31, 1951 ~ April 21, 2012 Celina Leski passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on April 21, 2012. One of ten children she was born in Maniowy, Poland on October 31, 1951 to the late Franciszek and Janina Cyrwus. Celina came to the US with her family in 1973, they settled in Chicago where she met Andrew Leski. They married in 1974 and have shared 38 years of marriage. Andrew and Celina worked together as quality inspectors for the first twenty-two years of their marriage. Since 1995 they have made their home in Phoenix. Celina is survived by her loving husband Andrew, stepson Darek (Anna) Leski, two grandchildren Luke and Monika, nine brothers and sisters Maria Ptaszek, Jozef (Maria)Cyrwus, Harriet (Stanley) Swacha, Tadeusz (Teresa) Cyrwus, Gosia Guzik, Janina Cyrwus, Albert (July) Cyrwus, Mark (Helen) Cyrwus and many nieces & nephews. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 5:00-8:00PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa, 2828 W. Country Gables Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85053. Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the church. ~~~~~~~~~ Note: Stanislaw (Terry) Cyrwus ~ Celina's brother was left off obituary. Stanislaw resides in Chicago. Celina was one of 10 children.
